NexusCare is provided by Aussi-Nexus Group (ABN 76 947 108 181). This policy explains what personal information NexusCare collects, why, and who it's shared with. NexusCare handles health-related information, so we've tried to be specific rather than vague.
Account information: name, email address, and (optionally) phone number, for both patient and caregiver accounts.
Health-related information you enter: medication names, doses and schedules; dose logs (taken/missed/skipped); symptom diary entries (tremor, stiffness, mood, sleep, freezing episodes); phone-sensor tremor readings; and any free-text emergency note you choose to add.
Location data: only captured at the moment you trigger an SOS alert (manual or fall/freeze auto-detect), to include with the alert sent to your caregiver. NexusCare does not track your location at any other time.
AI Companion conversations: messages you send to the AI Companion, and its replies, are stored so the conversation has context and so you can see your own chat history.
Billing information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — NexusCare never sees or stores your card details, only your subscription status.
Your linked caregiver(s): a caregiver you've linked via an invite code can see your medication adherence, symptom/tremor trends, SOS alert history, and (Premium) an AI-generated weekly summary. You control who gets linked by choosing who you give an invite code to.
Stripe (payment processing) — receives billing-related information necessary to process a Premium subscription. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Groq (AI infrastructure) — if you use the AI Companion or your caregiver requests an AI weekly briefing, the relevant message text or summarised health data is sent to Groq's API to generate a response. See Groq's privacy policy.
Zoho Mail — used to send SOS alert emails and other account emails.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health-related data with advertisers or data brokers.
NexusCare's database runs on a server operated by Aussi-Nexus Group. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text. Traffic between your device and NexusCare is encrypted (HTTPS).
We keep your account and health-related data for as long as your account is active, so your history and trend charts stay useful. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact details below.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
NexusCare is not directed at children. If you are under 18, please only use it with a parent or guardian's involvement and consent.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where practical, let you know in the app.
Questions about this policy, or a request to access/correct/delete your data, can be sent to professional@nexusmail.nexus.
