NexusCare is provided by Aussi-Nexus Group (ABN 76 947 108 181, "we", "us"). By creating an account or using NexusCare, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Medical & Emergency Disclaimer — the disclaimer in particular explains important limits on what this app can and can't do in an emergency, and forms part of these terms.
NexusCare is a personal organisation and support app for people living with Parkinson's disease and the caregivers who support them: medication reminders and adherence tracking, a symptom and tremor diary, one-tap access to emergency phone numbers and caregiver alerts, an AI Companion chat, and a caregiver dashboard. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice — see the Medical & Emergency Disclaimer for details.
You need an account to use NexusCare, as either a patient or a caregiver. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. A patient account controls which caregivers are linked to it, via invite codes the patient generates and shares themselves.
NexusCare offers a Free plan (medication reminders and tracking, symptom and tremor diary, manual SOS with one-tap emergency-number dialing and caregiver alerts) and an optional Premium subscription (adds fall/freeze auto-detect, blink-to-control accessibility mode, AI Companion chat, and an AI weekly briefing for caregivers). Safety-related features on the Free plan are never removed or paywalled.
Premium is billed as a recurring subscription through Stripe, at the price shown in the app at the time you subscribe. You can cancel at any time from the Settings screen; your Premium features stay active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and the subscription then reverts to Free. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Don't use NexusCare to enter information about someone else without their knowledge, to harass a linked patient or caregiver, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or for anything unlawful.
You keep ownership of the information you enter (symptom logs, notes, chat messages, etc.). You give us the licence needed to store and process it in order to run the app for you, including sharing it with a caregiver you've linked, as described in the Privacy Policy.
NexusCare relies on third-party services to work: Stripe (billing), Groq (the AI Companion and caregiver briefing), Zoho Mail (alert emails), and your device's own browser features (camera, motion sensor, location). We aren't responsible for outages or issues originating in those third-party services.
NexusCare is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and (as covered in detail in the Medical & Emergency Disclaimer) we don't guarantee that an SOS alert, a fall/freeze detection, or a reminder will always reach you or your caregiver in time.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, Aussi-Nexus Group's liability for any claim relating to NexusCare is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.
You can stop using NexusCare and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
